Cases
A Case is a saved path through FM³.
It preserves an analyst's route from market-wide structure to the source-linked evidence, reasoning, and limits behind a conclusion.
The analytical record
Capture the reasoning, not just the screen.
A Case is not a recording and not a folder of screenshots. It is a sequence of return points into the analytical state of the instrument, accompanied by the evidence and explanation selected by the analyst.
Evidence
The keystone semantic atoms and source references that carry the reasoning.
Narration
The analyst's explanation of what they saw, why it mattered, and what remained uncertain.
Analytical state
The data state, assumptions, and method versions needed to examine the work later.
Evidence standard
A claim should not stand alone as a chart, score, or assertion.
FM³ Cases are being designed around a reviewable evidence standard. A reader should be able to inspect what the Case used, what it preserved, how the conclusion was framed, and where the analysis remains uncertain.
Reproducibility does not mean the interpretation is automatically correct. It means the claim can be inspected, challenged, and, where the underlying state is preserved, re-derived from the same declared materials.

Current status
Under construction.
The Case system and the first historical Cases remain in development. When they are ready, this page will publish the question, the evidence available at the time, the result, the baseline, and the limitations together.
The intended desktop client is designed to keep an analyst's Cases and navigation history on their own machine while FM³ supplies the shared analytical structure. That security design remains subject to implementation and external review.
